A Souper Start!
The largest assembly at a New Year’s liturgy in recent memory celebrated the perfect beginning to our anniversary year with the feast of the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God. In the words of lector Duncan Van Dusen, the presider was “our beloved Pastor Fr. Jim”.
This was followed by a brunch hosting around 150 people and featuring a menu with 4 hearty soups. Canned soups were also collected for our sister parish, Blessed Sacrament.
