As a community of faith we have not only a right, but a responsibility to proclaim the Good News of Christ - over a hundred years of faith and service by, for, and to the people of Our Mother of Good Counsel. We celebrate not only our share in the church of Bryn Mawr, Haverford and this surrounding area, but also our part with the People of God from Rome to Chulucanas, from Villanova to Nagasaki and from Merion to Lima. Our people have ministered to one another, to the People of God, to teach, guide and sanctify. We cannot be silent, for the stones themselves would shout for joy and gratitude.

We ask Our Mother of Good Counsel with the simplicity of children, her children, "Mother, tell us what are we to do?" As our patronness, she has guided us through the past and we have the faith and service of years behind us to know that we can always depend on that guidance as we continue our faith and service to and for the Lord, Jesus Christ, as parishioners of Our Mother of Good Counsel Parish Community.
